Project WILD™ is a national program of the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies. Project WILD's mission is to provide wildlife-based conservation and environmental education that fosters responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources. All curriculum materials are backed by sound educational practices and theory, and represent the work of many professionals within the fields of education and natural resource management from across the country.
Project WILD K-12 Guide
The K-12 Guide is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program that focuses on wildlife and habitat. The goal of Project WILD is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment.

Educator Training Opportunities
As a State Partner for Project WILD, EEAI hosts lively, hands-on educator trainings which assist the teacher in using the materials to bring environmental education into the classroom immediately upon return. The trainings are instructed by certified Project WILD™ facilitators and include science content-based background, guides and activity alignment to NGSS standards.

Participants will be mailed the guide upon completion of the course. A certificate of completion can also be provided from EEAI. Course will take approximately 10 hours to complete. Course is being offered to IL pre-service educators at a large discount through EPA funding. Typical cost of the guide and course is $35. |
